Applied methods

I generally do not perform the procedures listed below separately, but apply them according to the needs of the individual.

Condition check

During my treatments, I always follow the principle of not only treating the painful area, but also trying to find the root cause of the problem. For this, it is essential to use physical tests, such as testing the tightness of the muscles, testing the range of motion of the joints, various neurological tests, etc. For example, when someone complains of neck pain, it is vital to determine whether the complaint is of muscle, joint, nerve or possibly internal organ origin.

Massage

At the beginning of my career, I only gave massages and – thanks to my fantastic guests – I made a name for myself with this. If you want nothing more than to lie down on the massage bed, leave all the stress outside the door, and surrender yourself to the experience so that you leave feeling reborn, you can do that too.

During my studies, I also learned various advanced massage techniques, such as massage combined with movement, which according to John Gibbons (my instructor) is the most effective form of massage.

Kinesiology taping

Kinesiology band (k-tape) originates from the developments of Japanese chiropractor, Dr. Kenzo Kaze. K-tape helps the healing of injured tissues via the rousing of lymph flow, stabilises joints and muscles without restrictions on their movements.

Any sort of injury or trauma boosts the defensive mechanism of body organism which is known as inflammation. Main symptoms are following.: swelling, pain, the injured area is hotter and the movement of the particular joint is restricted.

Effectiveness of k-tapes are clinically proven. It’s proper use eases the pain and boosts the lymphatic circulation with lifting the skin. This swelling effect raises the area between tissues and reduces inflaming processes in the particular area.

In any sort of injury an inflammation happens, a natural defensive mechanism that causes swelling- for example haematoma. This process along with the constant pressure in body tissues start to irritate pain receptors and pain becomes sensible. The swelling causes pressure and the pressure causes pain. In order to reduce this pain k-taping comes into the picture.

Depending on the muscles origin to bonding or the other way around, or the impulse of stretching the joint and muscles, k-tape arouses the weak muscle work and relaxes the stretched muscle.

MAIN BENEFITS OF USING K-TAPE:

1 normalising muscle functions

2 Pulsing blood and lymph flow, expulsing any accumulated fluid and bleeding.

3 neurologically relieves pain.

4 stabilises any possible joint movement, helping the muscular and fascia function.

Dynamic cupping

Every muscle has an antagonist that movement is opposite to it. For instance the antagonist of quadriceps muscles are the hamstrings. When a muscle is active, it’s antagonist is inactive. In a dynamic cupping this physiology is taken into advantage. Cups are put into the to be treated area and client is requested to make specific movements. As an impact the treated muscles become so called “turned off”. In this off status (reaction via the nervous system) for any sort of veering, cups are forcefully relaxing all sticky body tissues. Cupping causes major stream in blood flow, emptying all roughage that may have been accumulated under the skin.
